Galvanizing Youth for a Water-Secure World

This workshop is part of a series of youth consultations that the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative is hosting from November 2024 – January 2025.

Established by the UAE in 2024, the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative’s mission is to create a world in which water is accessible, affordable and sustainable for all. By enabling the development and application of breakthrough technologies and raising the importance of water scarcity on the international agenda, it seeks to address the urgent issue of global water scarcity.

Engaging with the youth is one of the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative’s priorities where the plan is to launch a youth program in 2025 and in this preparatory phase, it seeks to hear from youth leaders and learn from their experiences in raising awareness and galvanizing action on climate change and water scarcity. The session will be an opportunity to share experiences, explore avenues for meaningful youth involvement in policy and corporate decision-making and share insights from grass roots projects across both climate change and water scarcity.
