Climate Hub Tanzania will lead a diverse discussion on the critical intersection of climate resilience, health and wellness highlighting the often-overlooked importance of physical and mental wellness in climate action particularly in Africa.
This session will gather perspectives from policy makers, scientists, climate advocates and entrepreneurs each providing an insight into climate induced mental and physical health impacts and resilience strategies for vulnerable groups such as children, youths and women. Furthermore, This session will also involve launching Climate Hub’s new Project “The Wangari Maathai Fellowship for Environmental and Climate Leadership in Tanzania.” which aims to address the climate literacy gap and climate anxiety among youths and women affected mentally and physically by climate induced calamities.
