Session Overview

Information coming soon!

My story is the story of thousands of youths in the global south who try to bring food to the table in a lawful way without engaging in social vices. Every blessed year in my country Nigeria particularly my dear state Jigawa thousands of households lost their means of livelihood, children becomes orphan at a very early age due to the devastating effect of floods, girls and women are exposed to gender based-violence, food productions are declining and the government spends huge amount of money in rehabilitating the properties damaged as a result of the disasters, diseases are wide spreading, and children are left vulnerable to social vices. My greatest concern however is for the future of the generation unborn. Typically when people think something bad is about to happened they take action. I was convinced I have to make impact, I have to give back to the society, I believe doing that will protect the environment from the adverse effect of Climate Change.

Ph.D candidate, Climate Activist, Environmentalist and a Natural Resource Manager.

My educational background and the desire to serve humanity with the little I have, coupled with my personal experience being a farmer from the dryland region of Nigeria pushed me into Climate Activism. I am the Founder/Project Coordinator of Eyes on the Environment Initiative, a youth-led organisation championing for sustainable future. I have interest in rural livelihood, climate change, environmental sustainability, good governance, better life for women and children, as well as equal opportunity and quality education for all.
