As custodians of their natural environments, these young leaders have an intimate connection with nature and possess invaluable traditional knowledge that informs their climate and biodiversity actions. Panelists will share their experiences of community-driven conservation, focusing on the intersection of cultural heritage and biodiversity protection. They will also explore the challenges their communities face due to climate change, such as loss of biodiversity, displacement, and ecological degradation, and the role of Indigenous wisdom in addressing these issues.
