"I have been working at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the lead UN agency for digital technologies, for over 13 years, currently as the Deputy-Director of the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB). With a PhD in Computer Engineering and 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, I have a strong background in research, design, development, testing, network engineering, and sales of data products and services. I have also contributed to the development of several international standards, holding 22 patents and serving as the editor of the MPLS protocol standard (CR-LDP RFC3212). Moreover, I manage the customer relationship with ITU members, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and their feedback and input are incorporated into the standards development process.
