Anand Ethirajalu

Farmer turned Ecologist specialized in agroforestry and regenerative agriculture. Graduated in Plant Biology & Plant Biotechnology in 2004. Joined Isha's environmental activities as a full time volunteer in the year 2004 and have been instrumental in executing the vision of Sadhguru in the areas of conservation, afforestation and promoting regenerative agriculture through community participation.  

Currently functioning as Project Director for Save Soil Movement's on ground execution in the southern states of India.

Accomplished onboarding 220,000 farmers into tree based agriculture planting 114 million trees since inception of the project and trained 35,000+ farmers in regenerative agriculture practices for all major crops grown in the region with the support of 500+ full time team members and thousands of part time volunteers.
Part of the steering committee of Trilliontrees.org's India chapter for the past 2 years.
