I am currently a third year student at New York University Abu Dhabi majoring in Social Research & Public Policy and Environmental Studies.
Growing up, farming and foraging has been an integral part of my Hmong upbringing. This upbringing has given me a unique perspective on food systems and food distribution in the U.S, as well as a deep sense of responsibility for the protection of our planet. I spent the last few years dedicating my time towards combating food insecurity in the U.S by bridging the gap between farms with surplus produce and food banks in need. Now that I am based in the UAE, I seek to expand my experience in agriculture and food systems through new innovative and sustainable technologies.
