Arianna Abdul-Nour

Arianna Abdul-Nour is the International Project Manager for Island Innovation, where she works on global projects aimed at advancing innovation and fostering sustainable change in island communities. In her role, she facilitates the Caribbean Climate Justice Leaders Academy (CCJLA), training young Caribbean citizens in climate justice and providing them with fully funded opportunities to attend COP, ensuring representation for vulnerable island communities. As the Head UK Youth Delegate to COP28 with the Future Leaders Network, Arianna has focused on the impacts of climate change on various communities worldwide. She has successfully negotiated with international delegates, ministers, and academics to shape the United Nations climate change policy communiqué. Arianna's work emphasises the power of youth in driving climate action and bridging gaps in international dialogue to overcome challenges in addressing climate issues.

As the Head UK Youth Delegate to COP28 with the Future Leaders Network, Arianna has focused on the effects of climate change on diverse populations, negotiating with international delegates to influence United Nations climate policy. She has delivered keynote speeches at various high-profile events, including representing the British Council at the International Youth Climate Change Conference in Sri Lanka and the UK Houses of Parliament. Awarded a Peace Boat US scholarship, Arianna conducted research on the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities in Latin America. She is dedicated to amplifying youth voices in climate action and fostering impactful global dialogues.
